Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins
La producción de la película de DragonBall sigue adelante. Hago la salvedad: la producción película gringa de Dragon Ball sigue adelante. Porque la película china es un clásico del mundo pirata desde hace casi veinte años.

Dubs Versus Sub
Well, I’ve been posed the question of how I feel about subs versus dubs. In all honesty, I can never watch a dubbed anime and feel good about it again. In my early years of anime watching, the days of Dragonball Z and Toonami on Cartoon Network, I would’ve said something like, “why would you want to read what they’re saying if you can hear it instead?” Naturally, as I’ve become more immersed in the matter, my opinion has become more refined.

Types Of Anime Viewers
The TV Anime Viewer is someone who will watch most of his anime on TV. He will watch Cartoon Network’s Toonami and Adult Swim to get his anime fix. I used to be this kind of person early in my anime life. I got most of my anime strictly from Toonami. Shows like Dragonball Z
, Tenchi Muyo
, Gundam Wing
, Outlaw Star
, etc. The TV Anime Viewer is more than likely a new person to anime so he will watch anime on TV and this anime is usually dubbed. No subtitles for this viewer.

Crisis En Los Títulos
Hoy me puse a depurar mi clóset.

Anime Fans Are Fat
Today is a fairly slow day at work and I’ve pretty much just been roaming around. Well during one of my roaming adventures, I see a mom and her fat kid browsing through the Anime section. Nothing odd there, cause we all know all anime fans are fat. Then it happened. The kid grabs a Dragonball Z box set off the shelf and starts freaking out like he had just found a fuckin golden ticket. His mom responds with something along the lines of, “I’m not buying that right now, maybe Santa will get it for you.” The kid, in a very pissed off tone says, and I quote, “Man! Life Sucks!!!” At this point, I’m ready to go off on this kid. Because let me tell you, not getting a Dragonball Z box set is not terms for your life sucking.

Has Toonami Hurt Your Love For Anime?
Here is a question I have asked myself a lot. For the most part most of us, who watch toonami back in the day remember it for Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing and a few others. When Toonami was on 5 days a week, then again at 12pm to about 2am where it show many great animes like Thundercats, Voltron, Robotech and more of other great animes. I think they even show transformers once.

Nin-Ten-Dogs
Yes thats right I own a copy of nintendogs, the latest pet sim game put out by none other than Nintendo. Let me tell ya, nintendogs is very fun experience, each version you start with 6 different breeds of dogs, but by linking via wi-fi you can unlock the rest of the breeds from each version. I got this game on Saturday & since then aleast 3 tiems a day I spend time with my 2 Husky’s Goku & Chi Chi(yes i’m a dragonball dork too). I have put them both into different competitions for disc catch & obedients trials, Chi Chi i had for 2 day’s longer so she’s alittle better, but on Goku’s first try for the disc he got GOLD. I can keep going on & on about this game but i don’t want to waste your time, so let me just say, if you own a DS buy one the versions of this Sim, you wont regret it. Trust me.

Dragon Ball Z
Anime is on every-other channel. Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, The WB, Fox, they even have their own network called “The Anime Network”. But only one (CN) shows the most well known and most popular of all Anime—Dragon Ball Z. Curious to know what drives so many excitable younglings to unrealistic violence and makes so many soccer-moms cringe, I decided to catch an episode.

Fanfiction
I’ve always liked fan fictions, but I’ve never felt the drive to make one. Of course, back when I was 12 I always wrote Dragonball Z fan fictions, but what preteen Toonami watcher with a broad knowledge(for their age) of the internet didn’t? I’ve finally made up my mind, and I’m starting on a FLCL fan fiction.

Anime Influence
If you’ve browsed through my links list, a few of them might seem out of place (and maybe a few are). One such link is “anime news“. I’ve referred to it only once before because, while interesting, I still consider anime’s impact on industrial design to be rather low-level. However, as manufacturing and design increasingly head to Asian suppliers in the same countries where Japanese animation has been off-shored, anime’s influence on product design could grow significantly; and I mean in the sense beyond the obvious Japanimation spin-off toys (eg Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, etc). One example of how this kind of influence can be transferred is this computer mouse design created by Masamune Shiro, creator of the hugely popular Ghost in the Shell. As technology liberates designers from the tyranny of manufacturing constraints, this kind of crossover can only increase; more and more artists can move beyond images into tangible, manufacturable items.

Dragonball Z Name
I messaged Ah Kong telling her that I arrived in Miri and asked if she was really going to look for me. She replied saying that she definitely wants to but she’s currently at a friend’s house so she and Goku (her boyfriend, actual name Wong Hui Siang but has punk-y golden hair, hence the name “Goku” from Dragonball Z) will look for me later at my hotel.

Grab It!
Something I found on the net, that was quite funny at the time, an overblown lifesize Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z, well atleast I think it’s from Dragon Ball Z, that’s pretty good coming from someone who doesn’t like Dragon Ball Z. And if I am wrong, then atleast I know it’s from some sort of Japanese Anime without the sex-god-like tenticles and such.

Dragon Ball Z Screen Captures

More Violence Than Expected
I have been letting MOOKA handle most of the politics to let him have free reign in that area so I can focus on other things like my upcoming test for Win2k3 Server and paying more attention to Little Sarge. I believe I have learned more about Dragon Ball Z and Teen Titans in the past few months than I have about ANY Microsoft product. Yes, Little Sarge has become addicted to super heroes and Japanese Animation. I have to be really careful about Dragon Ball Z though, most of it is harmless, but I found out differently with one Dragon Ball Z movie I bought for him. I’ll never make that mistake again….it wasn’t bad, just had a little more violence in it than I had thought it would. I guess I’ll look online more before I do that again.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Review
Hopefully, those same fans are ready for yet another rendition of the same Dragon Ball Z stories, starting with Raditz and ending with the Cell Games. These stories have been done to death, but this particular retelling is especially limp, relying on 30-second montages cut together from the DBZ cartoon to relay a whole season's worth of story. The last episode of Dragon Ball Z was aired in Japan almost a decade ago, and even most American Dragon Ball fans have moved on to Dragon Ball GT. It's time that Atari did the same.

FUNimation Releases
Personally I’ve still associated FUNimation with bad Dragon Ball Z anime episodes, but I’m seeing that this is no longer the case. Because of a discussion over on Matthew’s Anime Blog, I remembered I had a copy of the first volume of Fruits Basket, which was put out by FUNimation. Fruits Basket was brought up as a really nice release because it came out on only 4 DVDs, even though there were 26 episodes.

Anime Programs
lately ive been trying out anime and found that full metal panic is fairly entertaining to watch. i havent actually watched many animes so i have little to compare it too but i find once you get past the incredibly strange devices the japanese use as comic relief its not so bad. i have seen several episodes of dragon ball z and can safely say that it sucks hairy asses. maybe its meant for little kids after all but i only know full grown adult males that still live with their parents that watch it. I also stumbled onto a very strange japanese show called "oh! mikey" starring manequins about an american family living in japan. not sure if its brilliant satire or just plain bizarre but it is actually quite funny.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Preview [Xbox GameCube PlayStation 2]
We got our first look at Dragon Ball Z: Sagas two months ago, when Atari unveiled the latest branch in its burgeoning DBZ games franchise. The game takes the series in a new and natural direction that presents a smarter use of the rich story that is the backbone of the popular long-running anime. We recently had a chance to take exclusive looks at work-in-progress incarnations of the three console versions of the game, developed by veteran studio Avalanche Software, to see how they've shaped up. While the versions weren't as polished as the recently announced final gold copies, they did give us a good feel for where the latest DBZ iteration is headed.

More pixel graphics today, with this game from the PixelBrothers based on the popular cartoon series, Dragon Ball Z, created by Toei Animation. In this turn-based fighter, you first select the character you want to play as, then compete head-to-head on your way to winning all 7 Namekian Dragon Balls. Doing so will allow you to summon the dragon Porunga. There are defensive moves, such as power-ups, as well as hand-combat and multiple energy attacks. A lot has been put into this little game, even a two player mode with each player taking turns to select moves.
