Manga And Doodles

anime manga doodle
Click through for the new manga layout.

Yay! I created a “Doodles” section under “My Mangas” where I am going to be scanning a lot of random doodles of my characters and of doodles that I have drawn of actual manga/ anime characters! ^_^ I have already scanned the picture that I am currently pixeling for my new Diablo 101 layout! Go lookie! =D It’s gonna be great! By the way, I’m gonna be changing a few thigns around like I’m gonna move the colored illustrations that I have on the manga page to the doodles page. (The illustrations that are right under where the mangas are) You’ll see, lol It’s hard to explain on here ^_^;;

Anime Versus Cartoon

anime tv
Different cultures, different preferences.

Trading Cards

anime yu gi oh cards
We love all those trading cards, too.

Now to the real stuff. Okay, I was following some urls from my owned fanlisting checking for broken links and making sure my buttons were up. So then, I click on a collective link, but do I find a FL collective. Nope: a trading card collective. I love trading cards. I still have all my digimon, pokemon, neopets, and my cool Yu-Gi-Oh ones. Somewhere, lost, I have Beeny Baby ones, Harry Potter, Bionicle, Gundam Wing and I’m sure I have others.

Doris Pico Lico Sasico

games pokemon
Welcome, Doris Pico.

Yes that’s right, we have just discovered Doris Pico (see above picture for upclose viewing). This is the newest species to have joined the Pokemon World. She has a number of attacks, Chocolate attack, Hidden Mean Attack, and the Cute to Death Attack. Many people are decieved by Doris Pico’s cute apperance at first, but DON’T BE! Doris is a dangerous pokemon on the prowl and will take a bite of you at given moment. Ok really, this post isn’t going to be devoted just to doris pico but it was a joke that I couldn’t pass up. **editor’s note: though I am trying to get a round suitcase and paint it white and red for her to fit in.**

North Point Blvd.

anime yugioh cards
The story of looking for Yu-gi-oh cards at a flea market near Baltimore.

I ventured out to Dundalk today to check out a flea market that supposedly is The place to go for Yu-Gi-Oh cards (don’t ask). Naturally, flea markets aren’t someplace you’d go to mingle with society’s elite, but lord almighty I was so unprepared for what forages through the acres of junk at that place.

General Introduction Rant

anime ragnarok manga
A manga rant.

MANGA: Went to the story today and picked up the next few books to a few manga's ive been keeping up with. (Ragnarok, Genshiken, The All New Tenchi Muyo) Also picked up the first book based off of Starcraft. (Going to see if its worth it.) Which brings to mind, what about other books that are based in a video game? Like the Warcraft books (or manga for that matter which i enjoyed actually despite having misgivings about it initially), and the Halo books seem to be extremely well written i have heard from multiple people. (With the Fall of Reach being the best of the 3 out). What other books/mangas based on games are good?

Notes From Online Community Camp 2006

anime fort mason
We didn't hear about the Yu-Gi-Oh championship at Fort Mason!

Yesterday I attended the Online Community Camp hosted by the fine folks at Forum One, held down in San Francisco at the Fort Mason Center (which is also hosting a Yu-Gi-Oh championship, for your random fun fact of the day).

Intervention

anime saiyuki
Time for a manga intervention?

And if you add in the back volumes of Saiyuki I bought to complete my collection, well… that's a lot of manga for one week. Am I getting close to intervention time? Nah. It was only 16 books. I think it feels worse than it is because I also picked up 6 volumes of Hellsing from the library today.
