Anime Wish List
While I have many wishes for sequels and stuff like that, Fruits Basket takes top priority. The anime and manga introduced me to the shoujo genre, which eventually became my top genre of choice whenever there are new series to watch out for. The Fruits Basket anime ended up so sour, I really wanted more. This holds a very special place in my wish list, something I'll never let go even when I know the odds of new Furuba animation are close to nil. For now, I'm holding on to the Tokyopop manga.

Has Toonami Hurt Your Love For Anime?
Here is a question I have asked myself a lot. For the most part most of us, who watch toonami back in the day remember it for Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing and a few others. When Toonami was on 5 days a week, then again at 12pm to about 2am where it show many great animes like Thundercats, Voltron, Robotech and more of other great animes. I think they even show transformers once.

What I Learned At School
Gamers are scary. Although I love the whole culture and I think geeks are hot, there is no way that a 6 foot tall, thirty year old man wearing a Full Metal Alchemist shirt, playing WOW and yelling 'Die, you bitches, die' at a computer monitor is the picture of normality...

ARIA The Animation
It’ll be so much easier if you lazybones have read the manga so I don’t have to explain it all, but I guess it can’t be helped; an undine is the gondolier in Mars. Due to terraforming mistakes, the whole place is covered with water, giving it a global, Venice-like environment. Therefore, undines are a group of people who will ferry people and good across the waterways, while at the same time acting as guides. End of background explanation.

Inuyasha ... To Be Continued
Inuyasha was good this past weekend. Did it really take Kagome THIS long to realize that she’s in love with Inuyasha… oh, COME on! She should have figured that out a long time ago. Inuyasha is pretty naive when it comes to love matters. It’s pretty funny. Anyway, the baby that came from Naraku is really scary and ugly. I’m sure we’ll see him more. I was looking forward to seeing Naraku again. Unfortunately, we won’t be getting new epsidoes of Inuyasha until next year.

Anime On TV
On Saturday evening, I got the chance to sit down and watch some anime on the cartoon network. I saw. . . hmm. . . lessee, Boboboboboadnaseum, Zach Bell, Naruto, Inuyasha, and Full Metal Alchemist. That is a lot of wide eyed, wide mouthed, freaky blonde haired. anorexic teens, lemme tell you.

Manga Killing The Comic Strip Stars
If you blog about cartoons, submit your article to Blog Carnival with the submit button at the top of the left column. So, apparently, Universal Press has decided to put Manga type strips in newspapers to “lure” teenagers into reading the newspaper.

Anime Destiny!
Then we went upstairs and watched some weird anime which seemed to be basically DN Angel with girls instead of guys, only worse. After that, they showed the single worst show in the history of the universe: Sailor Moon Live Action. It was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. I was in tears with laughter the whole time. I had to leave after two episodes, though, as I had lost too many brain cells. I noticed as I left, though, that Ilyas, Nate, and Khy had evaporated. Silly early-leaving people.

Bleach Elitist
Read the whole thing.Okay, one of my favorite anime’s right now is Bleach. Unfortunatly choosing this as one of my favorites kind of puts me in the middle of the current war that has been silently going on since the Bleach anime appeared. And that war is whether you like the manga over the anime. Now this is NOTHING new for the web community, I mean I’ve seen this same war played out back when Sailormoon was in it’s peak popularity. However, after listening to many inane arguments I’ve finally become sick of the whole thing.

Four and Twenty Full Metal Lovecraftian Horrors
Tonight, I finished pounding my way through the entirety of Full Metal Alchemist (the anime version). As I was starting the series, I was warned that it was extremely dark, very fucked up, not very good, teh suck, and several other things besides. For the most part, many of these warnings, statements, etc. were wrong. In some cases, these admonitions were really wrong, in some cases kinda right.

Manga Rocks!
Ok, I’ve now gone all crazy about manga. I mean, I’ve only been hooked on anime so far and also, it’s seems to be quite difficult to find translated mangas around. That is until now!

Hellsing Hunter
Speaking of animanga, I have recently joined The Fan Soundtrack Community, wherein fans of a particular anime/manga, book and some such may come up with their very own soundtracks for their chosen series or work. I dared apply for Hellsing as well as Hunter X Hunter, although by no means do I have extensive experience in this particular form of fandom foray.
