Anime!

Yes, I just watched Bleach till episode #17. First of all, I don't quiet interest to see it. But I found quiet curious when one of biggest Anime MAgazine in my country release Bleach as their headline more than 2 times. So i bought the DVD & watched it. Till now, it's been 3 days already & I just realised I finally watched till Episode #17. Amazing!! because I usually takes almost 1 month to accomplished 24 episode of anime movies.

The story quiet fast, the characters quiet fun. Compare with Inuyasha, this movie is equally good. EVerything is great. So far, this is the 4th anime that become my favorites (the other 3 are : Detective Conan, Inuyasha, & Samurai X/ Ruroini Kenshin).

Bleach is undeniably one of the better series to come out in some time. (I never really got into Inuyasha although God knows I watched enough episodes) I had feared that Tokyo had forgotten that a good sword fight requires some amount of detail to be worth watching, and while the undisputed king of swordfights remains the Kenshin OVA (the prequel one), the Bleach combat sequences, while excessively talky (my, aren't I one to talk?), aren't too bad. The real thing that bothers me about Bleach is that the story revolves around people repeatedly trying to kill each other with sharp implements specifically designed to be lethal as all hell - yet no one ever actually dies! And THEN on top of that, the characters still talk shit to each other! "You will never leave here alive" they say. "It ends for you here" they say. It makes me want to yell at my monitor : "WANNA BET??" With all that though, I'm still entertained by the series. I suppose they don't want to upset all the 9 year old fans that they are catering to.
